Meet the Team

Cox Inall has a team of experienced public relations practitioners with backgrounds in journalism, politics and agricultural science, and extensive networks in media, agribusiness, corporate and government spheres across rural Australia.

The company is managed by Managing Director Tim Powell and General Manager Justine Pirie, supported by a team of consultants based in Sydney, Boorowa and Mudgee, NSW and Emerald, QLD.

Tim Powell

Tim has 25 years’ experience working in journalism, politics, public affairs and marketing, and remains a hands-on consultant working on specific projects at Cox Inall, Cox Inall Ridgeway and Haystac.

Justine Pirie

Justine has an extensive background in communications, stakeholder management, public relations and corporate affairs.

Suzanne Lewis

Suzanne is a rural issues specialist with a keen mind when it comes to identifying and managing potential risks, as well as creating strategies to pro-actively communicate with target audiences.

Kate Manion

Kate has worked on major projects for clients including the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW, Lion Dairy & Drinks, the Australian Grains Industry Conference, the Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC) and Apple and Pear Australia Limited (APAL).

Melissa Aisthorpe

Melissa’s 20 years’ experience working as an agricultural journalist provides her with a deep understanding of many rural sectors and an ability to efficiently deliver key messages to an audience.

Sam Cox

Sam has ten years’ experience in communications. His background lies in technology and corporate communications and he is passionate about the role that technology can play in shaping and advancing Australian primary industry.

Susannah White

Susannah joins Cox Inall with extensive experience in corporate communications and public relations, having worked with clients across the banking, mining, retail and not-for-profit sectors.

Meg Pearce

Meg grew up on a sheep and cropping property near Dumbleyung in Western Australia, equipping her with an extensive knowledge and understanding of how to effectively connect with farmers and rural communities.
